Let me start by shouting..."We did it!!!" In our first six months, we now have over 1000 subscribers!! Thank you all for sharing Macaroni Kid Rockville-Gaithersburg with all your friends and family. For all our new subscribers, I wanted to say hello and let you know this is not a typical issue. You will normally find crafts, recipes, and maybe a giveaway or two...not 30+. I also wanted to let those of you with older kids know I have some events coming up in January for the older kids, so please don't run away. :) Also, be sure to scroll down past all the events for more info on weekly story-times, where kids eat free, our upcoming weight loss challenge and more.
Welcome to our final week of the Holiday Gift Guide and Giveaway Spectacular! We have lots of great new giveaways just for our Macaroni Kid Rockville-Gaithersburg subscribers! I'd like to highlight our newest giveaways, a family four pack of tickets to Disney On Ice Princess Wishes and Advance Autoparts Monster Jam. Remember, you MUST be a subscriber in order to win! If you have not already subscribed, please take a moment now and click on the subscribe button on the top right of the page under the MarVa Tots ad.
There are now two categories with suggestions and giveaways listed under each. You are welcome to enter as many giveaways as you'd like, but only one entry, per person, per giveaway will count. You can get extra entries on some of the giveaways by referring friends, facebooking or twittering about the giveaways. The guide will stay live for the next week, though some of the giveaways will end a bit earlier. I have added end dates to most of the giveaways so you will know when you need to enter by. Since we have so many giveaways going on, I will just be e-mailing winners instead of posting them all.
I'd love to here from all of you! Is there a certain day or time that you would prefer to see the newsletter published? I'm not making any promises, just curious to see if a majority of you would like to keep it on Tuesday mornings, or move it to a different time or day altogether. Please leave me a comment if you have any feelings about this. I'd also love to hear from you guys as to what you want to see in the new year. I wanted to let you all know I will be putting out an abbreviated newsletter next week as we will be driving down to TN to spend Christmas with my in-laws. Be sure to check the plan ahead section for the upcoming events the week of 12/22-12/29.
