Community Indoor Yard Sale (Green Event)
Come check out the great bargains or sign up for a vendor's table to sell your treasures at our annual community yard sale. Winter is approaching, now is the time to declutter your home, make some money and have some fun doing it. Vendors must pre-register with payment to secure a space/table. Set-up time is 7 a.m.

Mentoring: Be a friend; make a difference.
Be a friend to an elementary school-aged youth in a structured setting. Mentoring occurs after school for one hour per week during the school year at elementary schools. No experience is necessary and training is provided. Mentors must be at least 16 years old. Call 240-314-8317 or e-mail [email protected]
Rockville Youth Commission
The new Rockville Youth Commission offers high schoolers (grades 9-12) the opportunity to become community leaders, working with the Mayor and Council on a variety of important issues. The commission will meet once a month at City Hall and participants will serve one-year terms. For more information about program and application requirements read the Rockville Youth Commission Overview. A formal Rockville Youth Commission Application is required to participate. Update applications for the 2012-2013 school year will be available summer 2012.
