This is a very exciting week for me.  I'll be heading out to Vail, CO for our third annual Macaroni Kid Publisher Convention!  This year, we are staying at the amazing Sebastian Hotel and being treated like royalty by the city of Vail.  I absolutely love attending convention as it always helps me to re-energize, re-focus and learn new ways of bringing you the best and most helpful events, giveaways, etc.  I'll be gone from Thursday through late Sunday night so please note that next week's newsletter may not publish till Monday night.

Also, I wanted to give you all a heads up that I do not plan on running a gift guide as I have in previous years.  There are two reasons behind this.  First, I will be on a Disney Cruise and then staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge using my fabulous Disney Vacation Club points for the first 10 days in December!  Second, I will be hosting a Season's Hottest Toys Party on November 10th (probably around 2:30 but I am still working out the details).  This event will be open to Mac Kid Rockville readers by rsvp only...but for those able to attend, there may just be some fun giveaways!  We hope that lots of you will be able to join us for this great event and if any local businesses are interested in being sponsors with food, giveaways, etc., please e-mail us at [email protected] with PARTY SPONSOR in the subject line.
