All is takes is my husband being gone for a day for me to realize just how difficult it must be for single parents. I'm blessed to have my family close by, but spending the weekend taking care of a little guy when he is under the weather is not much fun. Doing so while also keeping the house somewhat clean, getting the dogs out and fed, working on homework and working on the Mac Kid newsletter...well, let's just say I am seriously counting down to my husband being home and my Disney Cruise in December -which is 54 days away in case anyone is curious. ;)

Remember that in addition to the event listings, remember there are LOTS more events listed in the updated weekly events article including open gyms, story times at the local libraries, craft workshops and more.
