We made it through the first week of kindergarten with minor trauma over the fire drill the first day, a great birthday celebration, and some serious adjusting to some new household routines.  We have figured out that if we lay my son's clothes out for the week, it really helps mornings move more smoothly.  We also look at the school calendar to figure out which days he wants to buy lunch and which days to pack lunch so we can get the grocery shopping done by Sunday night.  I am sure we will figure everything else out along the way, but for those with lots more experience, I would love to hear any of your tips!
