Wow...what an absolutely crazy 2 years it has been! When I first started publishing Macaroni Kid Rockville-Gaithersburg in June 2010, I had absolutely NO idea what I was getting myself into! One hundred e-newsletters later, and I cannot even begin to tell you how much publishing this site has meant to me. It has been a huge blessing for my family to be able to become much more involved in the community, make so many amazing new friends, learn about so many awesome companies and products...the list just goes on and on. I truly cannot thank you all enough. You have stood by me on this journey and have been amazing partners in sharing the site with all your friends, family, co-workers, social networks and more. In just two years, we now go out to over 3,100 families weekly...I am still in shock! So, with that said, I want this to be a great newsletter with some fun giveaways to help you all celebrate with us! We have a giveaway for an selection of books from American Girl, a fun giveaway from Thirty-One Gifts, a jewelry giveaway from Willow House Jewelry by Sara Blaine, a Blu-ray DVD giveaway for Phantom of the Opera, and a giveaway for a fabulous new personalized book from I SEE ME! Books!!Once again I would like to say a very special THANK YOU to our site sponsors who allow us to bring you this free newsletter and website every week! We could not do this without their support! Please be sure to show some super Mac Kid love to Sabrina at Pixie and Pirate Destinations and MarVaTots'n Teens! We have a few other new sponsors I am thrilled to introduce you to over the coming weeks and we still have a few spots for more site sponsors. If your business would like to be showcased, please e-mail [email protected] for a copy of our media kit.
Remember that in addition to the event listings, remember there are LOTS more events listed in the updated weekly events article including open gyms, story times at the local libraries, craft workshops and more. We also have a Kids Eat Free or Cheap section, a Now Showing section with current productions at local theaters, and a Macaroni Kid Saves section.
Until next time...Peace, Love and Macaroni!
