I hope everyone made it through the earthquake and hurricane last week. Now there is a sentence I never thought I would be typing! I was downtown for the quake and it scared the daylights out of me. Irene was more of a non-event at our house. We got the rain and wind, but have definitely had much more damage in regular thunderstorms in the past. (yes, I am knocking on wood as I type this).
So, did getting the kids back to school go smoothly? Did everything run as planned? We'd love to hear from you on your back to school traditions, tips and tricks since my little guy will be starting kindergarten next fall.
