Fearless AllStars Cheer, tumble, birthday parties, classes รขโ‚ฌโ€ OH MY!

Owner Nick Sweeney is often asked what makes his cheer gym unique. “The answer is simple”, he states. “At Fearless AllStars, athletes, their parents and their siblings are ONE FIERCE FAMILY”. This can often be seen by the camaraderie and sportsmanship that the certified coaches talk about during practices. Siblings are invited to jump on the trampolines in between practices, and parents share laughs in the lobby while they cheer on their kids.

Fearless AllStars, after two very successful years in business in Gaithersburg, is the new face of cheer in Montgomery County. A wide spectrum of classes and camps is offered for kids from infant-18. In the fall, “mommy and me” and low-priced daily open gym classes are popular with the toddler and preschool set. After school, tumbling, private tumbling and AllStar cheer programs kick into high gear.  Athletes of all abilities are invited to participate and kids learn not only cheer and gymnastics skills, but lifelong lessons. “My daughter has become a true team player this year while getting great exercise. She understands what it means to be a part of a bigger team vision”, says Darlene McCrossan, a new parent this year.

On the weekends, birthday parties are available for under $200 for a crowd of 20 kids. Parents can pick and choose from either an open gym concept or a formalized full cheer or gymnastics party. “We want to give parents full choice in their party in every way. We don’t sell them our pizza, our goody bags or things they don’t need. They have full use of the entire gym during their parties, including our fully stocked party room, and we’re here to assist them in every way. Our party helpers are responsible for doing everything from greeting guests to loading presents in the car for them”, says Sweeney.

This summer, two summer camp options are available. Both camps will run a full 9-5 p.m. to accommodate working parents and those looking for a longer camp schedule for less money. The “fun” camp for $175 a week includes gymnastics instruction with plenty of time for trampolines, running on the tumble track, games and crafts. The “fierce” option for $245 breaks up according to age and teaches cheerleaders of all levels stunting, tumbling and skills.

On the horizon for Fearless are two new additions to an already-packed program. Starting this fall, a low cost special needs program will be available on Saturdays. Near and dear to Sweeney’s heart he reports, “The idea was to make it seamless and easy for the parents in a safe environment. There is a low cost registration fee that includes a uniform and then they can pay monthly as the program fits into their lives”. Also available will be a “basic cheer moves class” for those of all ages who are not interested in pursuing an all-star path because of time or commitment.

Check out the Fearless AllStars at Kentlands Day this Saturday, May 8th. Fearless will also be at the Matsunaga ES Milk Run, the Jones Lane ES Jagfest, Rockville Nursery School’s Spring Fling and Darnestown Day just to name a few. Goody bags, free mini cheer clinics for kids of all ages and a $25 off coupon will be available. Coupons are applicable for summer camp, birthday parties, tumbling classes, or tryouts. Tryouts are ongoing this month, with all ages and levels welcome. There is a team for every athlete at Fearless where anyone can tell you they are ONE FIERCE FAMILY”.
