Happy early 4th of July! Thanks to everyone who sent messages and checked on me last week. I am feeling much better and am looking forward to this summer getting much better. For us, camp has been going pretty well and time still seems to be flying! How is summer at your house going so far?
July 2nd is my 5 year anniversary publishing MK Rockville-Gaithersburg! While I was hoping to host a party or a huge giveaway, last week set me back a bit. I am still toying with the idea of having a little party. What do you guys think? Any local businesses interested in hosting or contributing giveaways for a fun raffle?
Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook page and if you have not already done so, be sure to like the page and turn on notifications to be the first to find out about any schedule changes, new giveaways, etc.
In addition to the event listings, remember there are LOTS more events listed in the updated weekly events article including open gyms, story times at the local libraries, craft workshops and more. We also have a Kids Eat Free or Cheap section, a Now Showing section with current productions at local theaters, and a Macaroni Kid Saves section. I have also added the 2015-2016 MCPS school calendar to the newsletter. Just scroll down below the event listings.
